Juan Carlos Topalian (1977 and 1979 Alumnus) and Mikaela Topalian (2024 Alumna), father and daughter tell their experience as alumni. Interesting enough, through different decades, they gained a consistent skillset. We have often had the privilege of training 2 generations from the same family and at this time we are particularly appreciative of their testimonial and perspective on future scenarios.
Juan Carlos experienced firsthand the excellence of Arsutoria School in the late 1970s. His successful career in the footwear industry is a confirmation of the rigorous and comprehensive training he received. Decades later, Mikaela follows in her father’s footsteps, benefiting from the same high standards and up-to-date industry-driven training programs that have kept Arsutoria at the forefront for 75 years.
Both Juan Carlos and Mikaela highlight the unique hands-on approach that Arsutoria offers. Juan Carlos recalls the invaluable experience of shoe technicals skills in the school’s sample rooms, a feature that remains unparalleled in higher education. Mikaela, too, appreciates the 3D skills learned, which allow her to turn creative ideas into tangible products, mirroring the real-world industry environment.
We are honored to have trained two generations of the Topalian family and are grateful for their testimonials and insights into future industry trends. We look forward to witnessing Mikaela’s professional journey and success.
