What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. At each subsequent visit, the cookies are sent back to the website that originated them (first party cookies) or to another site that recognises them (third party cookies). They have different purposes, for example they allow you to navigate efficiently between the pages, to remember your favourite sites and, in general, to improve your browsing experience. Cookies also help to provide targeted advertising content to users based on their interests. Cookies can be divided into technical cookies, analytical cookies, profiling cookies, first party cookies and third party cookies depending on their function and intended purpose.
Technical cookies
Pursuant to article 122, paragraph 1 of the Privacy Code (Leg. Decree 196/2003), technical cookies do not require the prior consent of the user.
This category includes so-called “essential” or “strictly necessary” cookies, which enable functions and without which it would not be possible to perform certain operations on the Websites.
Essential technical cookies are used exclusively by the Company and are therefore first party cookies. They are stored on your computer (or another device) only during the individual browser sessions. Essential technical cookies are used, for example, to allow registration and authentication of the User to access his or her account.
This type of technical cookie is also used to store your consent to the use of cookies on the Websites.
Essential technical cookies cannot be disabled using the functions of the Websites.

Profiling Cookies
The Websites also use profiling cookies to analyse the behaviour of the User in order to improve the browsing experience of the Websites and for marketing purposes. The use of profiling cookies requires the prior acquisition of the User’s free and informed consent.
To this end, the Websites acquire the consent of the User in the forms provided by the Code through the banner that appears on the first visit to the Websites. The consent may be withdrawn at any time by disabling the corresponding cookie. Failure to consent to the use of profiling cookies will not affect your ability to access the Websites, however, you will not be able to access any features or content that use such cookies.
The User may at any time change his or her settings and consent for the use of profiling cookies.
Third party Cookies
While browsing the Websites, the User may also receive cookies sent from other websites or web servers (so-called “third party” cookies): this is because the Websites may contain some elements such as images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains that reside on servers other than the one on which the page requested is located. In other words, these cookies are set directly by the managers of websites or servers other than our Websites. These third parties may in theory set cookies when you visit the Websites and thus obtain information relating to the fact that you have visited the Websites. For more information on the use of cookies, click on the link indicated. If the User decides to not give his/her consent to the storage of third party cookies, the User may only use the functions of the Websites that do not require the storage of these cookies.
