What you’ll learn
The Arsutoria School Technical approach is based on the school proprietary pattern making techniques refined along its 100 years of experience.
We have enriched and renewed the course of bag pattern making and prototyping in order to equip you with a solid technical and design culture of this accessory, which will allow you to enter the world of production or to relate with the factories with technical and professional qualities of excellence.
The program aims at:
- Learning the secrets of how bags are made: a solid basis on how bags are technically developed. A deep dive into materials, components and constructions.
- Understanding patterns: students will learn the characteristics of patterns for the styles that they shall develop.
- Creating patterns: we decided to add a substantial amount of hours to learn the use of 2D CAD. As per today’s technology, the industry standards allows us to reduce time and improve precision and you may then test your patterns very easily and quickly by sending them to the plotter.
At the end of the course there will be a final exam that will test students rigorously. The Arsutoria technical diploma is highly professionalizing and internationally industry recognized therefore all students are required to demonstrate their ownership of the skills that have made Arsutoria School world-wide famous.
