What you will learn:
- Traditional and Digital Drawing: from hand sketching of bags based on perfect to digital Drawing via Illustrator and Photoshop. Different bag styles and constructions require different illustration techniques; students with a diverse and often strong design background have been surprised by the upgrade that have obtained even if they already had great sketching skills; we will reveal all the secrets students need to learn to design a bag with all the details for different market segments: luxury, mainstream and sport. In addition, students will get the chance to experience Artificial Intelligence; they will be exposed to open-source apps as well as Adobe AI. As it is an ever-changing scenario, instructors will support and encourage students to surf the current trends and get acquainted to them.
- Branding and Collection Development: we tackle design with a marketing perspective so analyze customers, brand values, positioning of brands and products. The synergy with the editorial team of Arsutoria magazine (largest B2B accessories focused Italian magazine, exported worldwide) and our instructors’ expertise offer a unique opportunity to always keep our training aligned with the latest industry trends so great relevance is given to analysis of latest fashion trends to provide the best source of inspiration to students. The path will be completed with students’ final presentation of bag collection. Mentors will support students step by step while developing the collection.
- 3D Modelling: is the most remarkable industry driven and unparalleled component of our design path. Thanks to the continuous collaboration with the industry, we have selected the most up to date ones used by professionals. 3D modelling software offer in the footwear domain is extremely wide. We have selected CLO 3D born for apparel designing and used by the most important fashion luxury brands, to be used for bag 3D modelling. We then offer a pioneeristic path that trains transversal professionals able to use this tool to create bag patterns. Among the tools for 3D materials creation, we have selected Vizcom AI for photorealistic renderings. As within our 3D Lab, there are three 3D printers, a structured light 3D scanner and a 3D materials scanner, Arsutoria School effectively prints objects in 3D that are made during the course.
