They have become a genuine product category onto themselves, which is destined to remain on the market and continue to dominate it over time. We will work on top-lasted and strobel constructions, take a look at knitted uppers, and analyse the constructions underlying iconic models like the Stan Smith derby-style, Oxford running, Van’s slip-on style, and Jordan mid-cut style.
Plus, for classroom participants at our headquarters in Milan, various hours will be dedicated to hands-on practice in the sample room where models will be cut in various materials (microfibre, fabrics, and leather), prepared, and stitched to create upper prototypes.
