Our 68-week Accessories one-year diploma in Milan combines fashion, technical mastery, and design for footwear and bag creation. The journey includes:

Shoe and bag design classes – 15 weeks each

he course covers essential skills like hand sketching of shoes, bags, soles and bag metal hardware and use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to convert your creative ideas in clear and professional drawings.  Particular relevance will be given to the learning of AI tools, such as VizCom and 3D modeling tools. You’ll learn to build a complete shoe and bag collection, research materials, and create a brand with strong values and marketing foundations. Students will learn how to get inspiration from trends, convey their concepts effectively, source materials and shapes, and transform their creativity into innovative projects.

Shoe pattern making classes – 15 weeks

Develop crucial skills in pattern making for various footwear styles, from women’s pumps to men’s moccasins and finishing with sneakers. The classes include a strong 2D CAD integration, hands-on sewing activities, and pattern drafting for various shoe models in our one-of-a-kind footwear lab inside the school.

Bag pattern making classes – 15 weeks

Gain technical skills to design and prototype diverse bags, from traditional to digital pattern making. Highlights include sample room practice, extensive use of 2D CAD for precision, and developing prototypes for styles like totes, hobos, backpacks, and clutches.

Final project – 8 weeks

At the end of these 60 weeks of intensive design and technical training, you will spend 8 weeks developing your own shoe and bag prototypes inb our shoe and bag sample rooms. With the expert guidance of Arsutoria teachers, you will select materials from our extensive network of Italian suppliers, and will refine your construction for a market-ready product. Arsutoria School provides a hands-on learning environment with top-tier facilities and skilled instructors, fostering aspiring shoe and bag designers’ growth.
